I am SO excited to finally share my 2019 Shoot & Share results with you! I entered in 50 photos back a couple of months ago & never dreamed that some of mine would make it as far as I did, therefore, I am so grateful! There were over HALF A MILLION photos entered in the contest. Take a look through the following photos and feel free to even click on each photo to see the whole session. Finalist – Swington Family

Oh how much I loved this sweet family session that celebrated the first birthday of baby Julian! The Swington Family was so much fun to hang out with at the beautiful John Harrison Park in San Antonio, Texas. The love that this family has for each other is so evident && I loved being able to capture so many little moments for them.

 

 

Top 10% – Bensch Family

Looking back on the Fall of 2018, this was simply one of my most favorite sessions. While planning this session, Emily said that she was excited about letting her kids play and have fun, which is music to my ears! I met up with the Benesh family at Hardberger Park in San Antonio, Texas in late 2018. Hardberger Park is one of my favorite places for family photos. It provides a lot of different places for kiddos to run around and play, which is just awesome.

 

 

Top 10% – Pidgeon Family

I had the BEST time with the Pidgeon family! When you live in South Texas && do not have Fall color yet, you go find color in other places. The Pidgeon family and I met in the Southtown area of San Antonio back in the fall. It always makes my heart so happy when families trust me and simply be their authentic, amazing selves and I simply capture it all!

 

 

Top 10% – Ruel Family

What a special session this was! Being a San Antonio photographer && living in Military City, USA, means I have the wonderful opportunity to photograph amazing Military families. The Ruel family was reunited for the first time in nearly 7 months, just a day before this session occurred. I met the Ruel family at Lackland Air Force base && the joy of being back together was palpable.

 

 

Top 20% – Garside Family

The Garside family’s session was my very last family session of 2018 and it was a great one! I met this awesome family back in 2017 when I photographed them at Landa Park in New Braunfels, Texas. In 2018 we decided to mix up locations a bit and this time we headed to Crescent Bend Nature Park in Schertz, TX. What I love the most about this wonderful family is that they completely trust my style and ability to create gorgeous photographs for them.

Top 20% – Justice Newborn

In-home newborn sessions are simply so special. After having a baby, the last thing you want to do is get everyone loaded in the car and spend 2+ hours at a photography studio. I love being able to photograph new babies where they are the most comfortable, and where families can relax the most, which is home. This was the second time I was able to photograph the Justice family and it was wonderful!

 

 

Top 30% – Susan & Jordan Engagement

This session was beyond magical. I edited through tears of happiness for these two! When I get to come from Texas to Chicago, to photograph your best friend’s engagement photos, it’s just the best thing ever. This special engagement session took place at two of my favorite spots in Chicago! Salvage One was the first place that we stopped at and will be the location of Susan & Jordan’s wedding in February of next year. Salvage One is this super cool antique store/event space that was an amazing backdrop for this engagement session. After some time there, we took a quick drive over to North Ave Beach to finish up for the night!

 

 

Top 30% – Susan & Jordan Engagement

Susan & Jordan’s engagement session was magical. In addtion to the pervious photograph, this one was also placed in the top 30%!

Top 30% – Kline Family

Have I mentioned lately how I just LOVE return clients?! The Kline Family is just wonderful! I was able to photograph baby Beatrice’s newborn photos back in January. It is BY FAR one of the most gorgeous sessions I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Make sure to check out the session here. This family is just the best and the three little girls just melt my heart with their joy & sweetness.
